How to

Be Baptized

Holy Baptism is full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ’s Body, the Church. If you are already Baptized, join St. Luke's by attending a new member class and being confirmed by the Bishop. If you would like to be Baptized or have a child Baptized, please contact the Rector, Fr. Perschall, 903-465-2630.

Transfer Your Membership

If you have been a member of another Episcopal church, please contact the Parish Secretary, Susan George, 903-465-2630  to request a letter of transfer to St. Luke’s.

Be Confirmed, Received, or Reaffirmed

In the course of their Christian development, those Baptized at an early age are expected, when they are ready and have been duly prepared, to make a mature public affirmation of their faith and commitment to the responsibilities of their Baptism and to receive the laying on of hands by the Bishop.

In addition, those adults who have been confirmed in other denominations by a Bishop in the Roman Catholic Church, Eastern Orthodox Churches, or Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) may be received into the Episcopal Church. Those who have been Baptized and confirmed in the Episcopal Church and wish to recommit themselves to the life of faith may choose to reaffirm their baptismal covenant with the Bishop. If you would like to be Confirmed, Received, or Reaffirmed, please contact the Rector, Fr. Perschall, 903-465-2630.

Be Married at St. Luke's Church
